District 45 Toastmasters had a District website but then Toastmasters International rebranded. It was a challenge to create a District website that followed the branding guidelines as the colour scheme was unusual and difficult to put together in a manner that was visually appealing.
The District 45 Toastmasters leadership wanted a few changes when the website was redesigned. They asked if the menu system and home page could be easier for members to navigate. If possible, they wanted all the important information right there in plain sight for easy member access.
Did we succeed? When the new website was revealed at the 2011 District 45 Toastmasters Fall Conference, loud cheers and whistles erupted from the crowd. Even Toastmasters International was impressed with the job we'd done.
